Vessel Security Plan

In order to contribute to the prevention of illegal acts against our vessels and crew, AMNAV has prepared its Vessel Security Plan in accordance with the Guidelines for Preventative Action as Required by the Department of Homeland Security. Additionally, this plan will create a well-defined security organizational structure for our vessels and provide all crew members with security duties or responsibilities within that structure with the support needed to fulfill security obligations. Our plan has been prepared in accordance with:

  • The ABS Vessel Security Guide
  • Chapter XI-2 of SOLAS
  • The International Vessel and Port Security (ISPS) Code, Part A
  • The International Vessel and Port Security (ISPS) Code, Part B, paragraphs 8.1 through 13.8
  • United States Coast Guard (USCG) Regulation 33 CFR Subchapter H Part 104
